PERFECT 10 Chemical Peel

The Perfect 10 Peel has been designed to deliver what patients are after: a peel that actually peels, exfoliates the skin and delivers desired results.  In five steps, your patients will be on their way to beautiful skin.

The Intermediate Perfect 10 Peel is for first time peel patients and is a step up from Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid or similar peels. The Intermediate peel is formulated for Fitzpatrick skin types I-II-III and is recommended for sensitive, normal and tolerant skin patients.

What can I expect when using this peel?

Upon application, within the first minute-or-so, you will feel very little topical sensation… it will be a warm tingling sensation. This acid penetrates more slowly than others, due to its larger molecular size, but don’t be fooled.  It *is* processing your skin, so please follow directions as written and use a non-acid moisture post peel.

Post peel you’ll see some light flaking, perhaps more apparent around the mouth and nasal areas. 

Salicylic Acid Acne Peel

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid which is safe and effective for use in all skin types.  Unlike other deeper peels which can damage the skin by excessively peeling and irritating the sensitive, inner cells of the epidermis and dermis, salicylic acid peels encourage the removal of old, dead cells from the outer stratum corneum layers stimulating the renewal of underlying, younger epidermal cells and improving skin’s appearance. In addition to improving the appearance of the skin and removing dead skin cells, salicylic acid peels are used adjunctively with acne and rosacea patients. Typically peels are applied in a series at intervals of 4-6 weeks.
